Asus ROG 10th Anniversary Lineup at the Manila Major

The presence of e-sports is palpable with the Manila Major culminating today. Asus, the official gaming partner, saw to it that all the players had been utilizing the best and fastest set of peripherals to go with their hardware.

Celebrating 10 years of ROG (Republic Of Gamers), Asus found the Manila Major a proper venue to come out with all new drool-worthy and GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) inducing PC components to wit:

The ROG PG248Q gaming monitor – a 24″ G-Sync monitor with an overclockable 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. This same monitor was exclusively used in The International and the ESL One 2016. This refresh rate, combined with the G-Sync effectively eliminates tearing and blur within the gaming environment.

Nvidia Pascal Technology is within the Strix GeForce GTX1080 – its faster than two GTX980s on SLI and even the TitanX which uses the Maxwell.

Asus went on to unveil two of the products that were also just released at Computex soon to be made available in Philippine stores:

The GT51, which looks like it came straight from an Iron Man movie, comes out swinging with 4.2GHz on its Intel Core i7-6700K, supported by 64GBs of RAM on a 3TB HDD + 512GB SSD storage configuration, and is driven by two TitanXs (12GB DDR5)… oh and did I mention its water cooled?!? Priced at Php5 shy of Php230,000, this rig will redefine the environment which any personal gamer would get an edge from.

Finally theres the Strix GL502, a 15″ FHD gaming machine powered by an Intel Core i7-6700HQ clocked at 2.6-3.5GHz with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M (6GB DDR5), 8/16GBs RAM, and 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD of storage. The price is Php5 shy of Php100,000.
