The Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 – Pumped Up Style

At the Asus Incredible Media Christmas Party last night we chanced upon a mint Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 (2 of them actually) and got to take a few images of the highly sought after phone for the holidays. We have it in Glacier Silver and Titanium Gray below:

This newer version sports updated specs from its 5.2″ variant which includes a 5.5″ Full HD screen (something truly unexpeted in this price range). It retains the 4100mAh power pack in a svelte aluminum unibody frame with a 2.5D contoured glass up front. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdrgon 430 (8-core) coupled with an Adreno 505 with 32GB onboard storage and 3GB of RAM. It is a hybrid Nano and Micro SIM affair and is flexible if you’d want storage over another network.

The cameras on this device are nothing to scoff at either – featuring 8MP f2.2 4P Lagan Lens up front and 16MP f2.0 5P Largan Lens at the rear. With the Tri-tech AF system (Laser, Phase Detect, and C-AF), and up to 32s manual shutter operation, amazing photography can be expected of it.

It still utilizes a MicroUSB port so most of your current cables would see their utility and the package it comes in now has its own OTG cable for the reverse charging functionality.

The Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 (ZC553KL) retails for Php 10,995 only and should be available at the Glorietta 2 Zenfone Concept Store amongst other retailers. These must be flying off the shelves so if you’re considering a long-lasting phone with specs to match – the Zenfone 3 Max is where it’s at!

Creds to our hosts for the evening Alvin, Anvey, and Neil, and of course to Asus Philippines Country Manager Mr. George Su for the wonderful evening celebrating the culmination of 2016.

Cheers to a fruitful 2017 guys!
